A Mighty Tempest

"I don't think I've ever enjoyed Shakespeare so much!" - just one of the many accolades following our performances on Wednesday and Thursday.  The hard work put in by children and the production team certainly paid off with some fantastic performances much enjoyed by all.  All the children have had the chance this term to read one of our abridged versions of Shakespeare's story ranging from Usbourne first reader to Charles and Mary Lamb's 'Tales from Shakespeare'.  I have been thrilled with the amount of interest generated by the story and am pleased that all the children have gained much confidence working on the performance itself.  Anyone looking for further dramatic experiences should consider attending our drama workshops, the next one planned for the summer holiday.  Well done everyone for all your efforts and thank you to Mrs. Hennie in her tireless efforts with the Tempest music.
